WHO ARE HERBAL TREATMENTS FOR?

You may be wondering if herbal treatments are right for you. If you haven’t already, your first step should be talking to your main care provider. Your GP or specialist should help you consider your treatment options, including if herbal treatments could be an alternative.

REQUIREMENTS FOR BOOKING

To book an Initial appointment with one of our practitioners, you will require a referral letter or health summary from your GP or specialist. Once you have obtained your referral or health summary, please email a copy to the clinic so we can confirm we have the required information needed for your application.

Booking your Initial appointment can be done through our online booking system found on our website, alternatively, you can call the clinic during our administration hours: Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur, 10am - 6pm. Our booking and payment system is designed to be efficient and data secure for patients and the clinic, so you will be required to enter a credit/debit card to secure your appointment.

Initial Appointments - $300 *
A 60-minute Initial Consult includes a thorough review of your current medical condition, medical history, and physical examination if necessary. The doctor will discuss with you possible product options and answer any questions you may have. Toward the conclusion of the appointment, and depending on your doctor's evaluation, your first prescription will be provided. It's important to be aware that your doctor might determine that additional information is needed or that specific TGA approval may be required, potentially causing a delay in receiving your first prescription during this initial visit.

Child Initial appointments - $250 * (17 year olds and under)
Individuals younger than 18 must have a referral, ideally from their Pediatrician or Specialist.

During the initial 45-minute consultation, a comprehensive assessment of your child’s present medical status, medical background, and if needed, a physical examination. The doctor will explore potential product choices and address any queries you might have.

Following the consultation, your doctor will submit an application to the TGA for a Special Access Scheme approval relating to your child’s condition. Approvals typically require about 2 weeks, after which we'll schedule a 30-minute session to outline the treatment strategy and provide dosing instructions.

Subsequent Follow-Up appointments - $140 *
As long as you are prescribed alternative treatments, it is a legal requirement that you be regularly monitored by your prescribing doctor. During these appointments (15 - 30 minutes), your doctor will review your progress, and make adjustments to your treatment plan as appropriate. Your doctor will provide sufficient repeats of your script to last until your next scheduled consults - no scripts are given outside of appointments.

Brief Follow-Up appointments - $80 *
Short 15-minute appointments are for the review of simple issues and receiving scripts.
For regular patients only.

* No Medicare rebates with our clinic doctors are available, yet are available with our Nurse Practitioner.

* No Pension rates are available for consultations.

* Some Health Funds may offer rebates for consultations depending on the Health Fund and your coverage. Please check with your Insurer.

* Additional transaction fees apply.
