Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy or counselling, is a form of mental health treatment that involves verbal communication between a trained therapist or counsellor and an individual or a group of individuals seeking help. During talk therapy sessions, the therapist and the client engage in open and confidential conversations to explore and address various emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues.

The purpose of talk therapy is to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment in which individuals can freely express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through these therapeutic conversations, clients can gain insights into their emotions, behaviours, and thought patterns, identify underlying issues causing distress or challenges, and develop coping strategies to deal with their problems more effectively.

Psychotherapy can be utilised to address a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, stress management, and many others.
